Complaining

Everyone complains, at some point, at least a little bit. However, complaining can become habitual, as you recall and repeat the wrongs in your life over and over again-little and big. And, it is through that repetitive thinking that your brain actually learns to trigger the same neurons each time. So, if you keep your mind looping on self-criticism, worries, and how nothing is working out for you, your mind will more easily find that part of your brain and will quickly assist you in thinking those same thoughts again and again. In turn, your repetitive thoughts shape your mind, causing you to feel unsafe and anxious.Today, set your intentions to stop complaining! Begin to listen to yourself and then "catch" yourself as you start up your cycle of complaining. You always have choice over your thoughts. Just the way you have created your habitual complaining patterns, you can create a brand new pattern of remaining grateful in every moment. The more often you allow your mind to remember the good stuff, the easier that kind of thinking becomes. Today, accept that spending the day complaining about yesterday won’t make tomorrow any better" and that your constant complaining is actually attracting more things for you to complain about Stop complaining today.

Just for today, I do a mental house cleaning, making room for new positive thoughts. I monitor my self talk, making sure that my thoughts are supportive and uplifting of myself and others. My consciousness is filled with healthy, loving, positive thoughts that are reflected in all my experiences. I am safe and everything is always working out for my highest good. And so it is.
