You are worthy!!

Self-worth comes from knowing that you are enough, just as you are. You are inherently worthy, and you don’t need anyone else’s approval. However, most of us have a tendency to focus on what is wrong with us, and what it is we want to “fix.” There is no end to the ways we can critique ourselves! We unconsciously get into the mental routine of continually undermining our own self-worth. We accept things that are clearly less than we deserve. And, we put ourselves and our needs at the bottom of our to do list. Today, is the day that you awaken to your inherent worthiness. In truth, you are worthy just because you exist. Because you exist, you deserve to be happy, to be respected, to have your boundaries respected and to have your feelings honored and respected. Today, know that you are worthy. Begin by consciously looking what is right with you, instead of all the things you need to fix. Next stop selling yourself short and treating other people better than you treat yourself. You in reality are teaching others how to treat yourself when you neglect your wants and needs. Finally, recognize that self care is an essential part of supporting yourself and ultimately benefits everyone on in your life. When you show yourself respect by prioritizing your needs, and fill up your own cup, you send yourself a message that you are important and worthy. By consistently showing yourself this level of respect, you can pull yourself out of the cycle of exhaustion and martyrdom and begin to build self-worth. We each have different things that fill us up and make us feel alive, but you owe it to yourself to discover these things and make time for them in your life. Today, repeat it over and over that you are indeed worthy of all that good in life. Then allow yourself to accept it.

Just for today, I am worthy of the very best in life and I now lovingly allow myself to accept it. I am worth loving. I am worth the time I spend nurturing myself. I respect my healthy boundaries and I insist that other respect them too. I forgive myself for not being perfect. I am living the best way I know how. I am safe. I am worthy and everything is working out for my highest good.
