Allow your life to happen
Many of us right now are in a place that we know that we can't go back to what and who we were before this pandemic. However, most of us don't know what comes next. And, when you’re in a state of confusion, resistance can easily set in. That resistance can cause anger, fear, panic, tension, and stress. Then, as a consequence of those emotions, you and I can also feel tempted to force a decision, to make things happen. But it is at exactly at these times of confusion and uneasiness that we need to practice the art of allowing. Today it is time to surrender and stop pushing your new beginnings. When you’re confused about what to do next, fully surrendering to the possibilities will help you see a clear path ahead, even if all your ego wants you to keep pushing, fighting and trying. Sometimes it takes real effort to do nothing and simply be in the experience. Especially because most of us want control, and we feel the need to be in charge of every aspect of our lives, especially at junctures when we perceive that our present circumstances are under the threat of change.Today, have faith that your inner wisdom will tell you when the time is right to reach out for an opportunity. When you do this, you are truly living in the present. And you can open up to real and lasting change, secure in the knowledge that your journey is as individual as you are and that whatever comes next is meant to be. By practicing the art of allowing, you accept that change is constant. You also accept that control is an illusion and that in reality you control nothing that is happening to you, except the way you respond/react to what happens to you. Today, allow yourself some quiet time to surrender, allow what is happening to happen and trust that everything is always working out for your highest good.
Just for today, I recognize that no person, place or things has any power over me for I am the only thinker in my mind. It does not matter what other people do or say. What does matter is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself. I choose to feel good about myself not matter what they say, do or think. I am safe. It is only change and everything in truth is always working out for my highest good. And so it is.
