Healing is happenings
There is so much happening right now in the Universe which may leave you feeling overwhelmed or as if you are walking through a dream or perhaps a nightmare. And if you are feeling as if all you want to do is to stay home and hide, you are not alone in those feelings. However, all your feelings, fears and overwhelm are an important part of profound healing and cannot be avoided or numbed out. Today instead of avoiding, ignoring or numbing out your feelings, allow yourself to experience the pain, anger or frustrated and know that your pain has meaning and will help you heal. When you allow yourself to fully experience painful or uncomfortable feelings, you are doing important work. Sitting with your feelings instead of disengaging or distracting yourself is work. And, once you accept that you are doing work, you can silence your internal critic that believes that feeling pain means you're “doing something wrong" or that there is something wrong with you. Instead, you will begin to understand that feeling your pain is important and productive. And, when you understand the true nature of your work, you can summon compassion for yourself as you move through your uncomfortable feelings on the path to healing, peace, and wholeness. Today, feel all your feelings and know that they won't last forever and that you in truth are healing!
Just for today, I recognize that healing means making whole and accepting all parts of myself. I listen to my feelings and I am gentle with myself. I know that all my feelings are my friends, not just the ones that I like. As I move through the layers of other people's opinions and beliefs, I see within myself a magnificent being wise and beautiful. I love what I see when I look inside me. I am safe. I am willing to change and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.
