Be Willing!

Happy July! This month is filled with cosmic events- two eclipses, two New Moons and a Mercury Retrograde.Tomorrow we begin this lunar cycle with a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer. During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon temporarily blocks the radiant light of the Sun. That moment of darkness is intended to show you where in your life you need to "lighten up"-to bring light to aspects of yourself that you may have tucked away into the recesses of your shadow. The previously darkened aspects of you can be revealed so you can shine more brightly and become more authentically you. Therefore, the Eclipse energy supports big changes. So today begin to think of an area of your life that needs an upgrade and allow the Eclipse energy to guide you. Begin to become aware what changes in your Life do you need to make so that you can feel more supported? How can you begin to parent yourself, in better ways than your actual parents did? Then be willing to let go of the "old stories" from your past that are stopping you from growing. While this Eclipse is all about opportunity, the Universe may need you to first clear the way to allow those opportunities to reach you. Do not be afraid to make changes in your life. Do not be afraid to shake up your routine, set boundaries or stand up for yourself and what it is that you need. Although doing so can be scary at first, it always takes that first courageous step to make any change. Today, allow yourself to be brutally honest with yourself about what needs to change. Then, just be willing.

Just for today, I am willing to change. I am willing to see how and where I need to change. I am willing to let go of people, places, things, beliefs and habits that no longer serve any purpose in my life. I am willing to grow and change. And when I am willing to grow and change, it is amazing, the Universe brings me everything I need. I am safe it is only change. And so it is.

Boundaries

On this last day of June, a month that helped us to recognize how and where we settle for less, make other people's feelings and problems more important than our own, the Universe has one last lesson for us and that is "Do not make other people's problems your problems! " Always trying to come up with solutions to problems that aren’t yours is a dangerous road to follow. No matter the reason behind your need to take on and solve other people's problems, it is a recipe for exhaustion and in truth for sickness. Of course, compassion, empathy and understanding are all virtuous things. However, trying to resolve problems that do not belong to you is an express-ticket to severe fatigue and depression! Today, recognize that you do not need to interfere, rescue or solve anyone else's problems. Today, give everyone the freedom to resolve their own problems. And, you resolve your own! Today, respect and love yourself enough to recognize when something isn’t healthy for you; when someone dumps their issues on you; when you take on others problems and then begin to ask yourself "whose problem is it anyway?" Today, be confident enough to set clear boundaries to protect yourself. Remember, the only people that get upset about you setting boundaries are the ones that are benefiting from you having none. Today, focus on getting your needs met and on setting healthy boundaries. The way you treat yourself sets the standards for everyone else.

Just for today, I am a master at setting boundaries that protect my time, energy, creativity and emotional well being. I deserve to have boundaries and my boundaries are respected. I respect my own boundaries and I insist others do too. I recognize that each time I set healthy boundaries, I say yes to more freedom. I love and honor myself. I am safe and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.

You cannot fix other people

It’s pointless to run around trying to heal all of your friends and family members. You cannot force anyone to change. You can offer them a positive mental atmosphere where they have the possibility to change if they wish, but you cannot do it for or to other people. Each person is here to work out his or her own lessons, and if you fix it for them, then they will just go and do it again, because they have not worked out what they needed to do for themselves. Today, let everyone learn their own lessons, including yourself. Today, recognize that in reality all you can do is love them and allow them to be who they are.

Just for today, I recognize that I cannot learn other people's lessons for them. They must do their own work and they will do it when they are ready. I cannot change another person. I accept them as they are and I simply love who I am. I know that we are all doing the best we can with the knowledge, understanding and awareness that we have right now and every day gets easier. I am safe and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Choose to be at peace

Just for today, I handle my own life with joy and ease. No person, place or thing can irritate or annoy me. I choose to be at peace. I choose to accept myself and my life exactly as it is right now. I am at peace with the process of Life. I am safe, divinely guided and protected. And all is truly well in my world. And so it is.

You are lovable

You are worth loving! This is a reminder to you that you do not need to earn love anymore than you have to earn the right to breathe...you have the right to breathe because you exist. You have the right to be loved because you exist. That is all you need to know. You are worthy of your own love. Today, do not allow anyone, friends, family, co-workers, make you feel like you are not good enough. The reality of your being is that you are lovable. Today, accept this as your truth. As you accept that fact, you will find that the people in your world will begin to treat you as one. You are lovable because you exist!

Just for today, I am worth loving. I do not have to earn love. I am lovable because I exist. Others reflect the love that I have for myself. I love and accept myself exactly as I am. I am lovable. I am loving. I am loved. And so it is.

Welcome in what you want

We all know that we need to let go of stuff however, letting go can easily trigger fear. When you leave something behind and don’t know what to replace it with, you leave space for the unknown and that unknown can be scary, especially when you don’t know what’s coming next. That’s why you might find yourself clinging to the unwanted because that’s what’s familiar and known to you. But, that stuff is keeping you stuck. Today consciously decide to change it up and instead of focusing on what you do not want any more, focus on what you want to come next -consciously begin to "let in" instead of letting go. Rather than pushing away the unwanted, invite the wanted.If you want to let go of anxiety and self-doubt, invite peace and self confidence. If you want to let go of a past relationship, invite a new loving relationship. Today, invite what you desire into your life. Imagine, visualize, and fantasize what you’d love to have in your life. "Where focus grows, energy flows.” Today, focus on the wanted, not the unwanted and welcome the new into your life.

Just for today, I recognize that if I focus on what I do not want, that is exactly what I will get more of. I focus my attention on loving myself and trusting the Universe. I focus my attention on what I really want and I welcome new ideas, beliefs and people into my Life. I am safe. It is only change and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Meditation and the art of letting go

Pretty much all of our struggles, from frustrations to anxiety, from anger to sadness, from grief to worry, all stem from the same thing … from being too tightly attached to something. For instance, when we’re worried, we are tightly attached to how we want things to be, rather than relaxing into accepting whatever might happen when we just do our best. When we’re frustrated with someone, it’s because we’re attached to how we want them to be, rather than accepting them as they are-flaws and all. . So, the answer to most of our struggling and suffering is to let go, to stop clinging so tightly to everything and everyone. However, that is easier said than done and takes practice-as much practice and energy as we do remaining attached to people, places, things and beliefs that do not serve us and in some cases even hurt us. Letting go of those things is a slow and deliberate process and involves you allowing yourself some quiet time, in meditation, even for a short time, daily! Meditation and focusing on your breath will bring you back to the present moment, allow you to see what is true for you and what is illusion. Meditation will allow you to little by little, let go and stop suffering. Today, invest your time in you through self care and through creating a new habit of meditation.You always know what's best for you, meditation will allow you to grow and change in ways you never thought possible.

Just for today, I create a stress free world for myself. I close my eyes, think positive thought and breathe goodness in and out. I allow myself to be quiet and still and I am amazed at what I find-Life is just waiting to share its secrets with me. I am now totally centered in the love and joy of being alive. I flow with Life. Peace of mind is mine. And so it is.

Go with flow

This is a reminder that no matter what you are going through now, up or down, high or low, it will change and those changes will be easier if you just go with the flow. No matter how much structure you create in your life, no matter how disciplined, organized or focused you are, there will always be things that you cannot control — and if you let them, those things can be a huge source of anger, frustration and stress. The simple solution is to learn to go with the flow. Today, set your intentions to roll with the punches; to accept change without getting angry or frustrated, if it doesn't look exactly what you thought it should be; to accept what life gives you, rather than trying to mold life to be exactly as you want it to be. Today recognize that Life is not something static, but a flow of change, never staying the same, always getting messier and more chaotic, and in truth, always becoming more beautiful. "Change is always hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end." Today, go with the flow and enjoy the journey.

Just for today, I relax and go with the flow. I let go of all expectations. I flow freely and lovingly with Life. I know that only good awaits me at every turn. I flow easily with new experiences, new challenges and new people that enter my life. I feel safe in the rhythm and flow of my ever changing life and all is truly well in my world. And so it is.



Worrying is such a waste of time!

The biggest waste of time in all of our lives is worrying. Time spent worrying, is time spent not living. Worrying by its very nature takes us out of the present moment and into the past, ruminating over what has already happened or into the future, projecting what might possibly come to pass. Worry keeps us trapped in our heads and keeps us from truly enjoying life, as it’s unfolding. Although some amount of planning and looking ahead is always necessary, the act of worrying is always optional. Today, recognize that worry is a total waste of time. It doesn’t change anything. All is does it steal your joy and keep you very busy doing nothing.

Just for today, I recognize that worrying is a waste of time. I now release all negative thoughts about the past and all worries of the future. I know that the thoughts that I choose to think and believe now are creating my future. Those thoughts create my experiences tomorrow, next week and next year. Everything is working out for my highest good. And, all is truly well in my world right now.

You always have a choice!

Today is the day you can begin to choose to love yourself totally without expectations. Today you can begin to recognize that love is something you can choose, the same way you choose anger, or hate, or sadness. You can choose to forgive someone who has hurt you and begin to finally heal. You can choose to be grateful for what you have. You can choose love. It is always a choice within you-no matter what stories your ego created about how you have been so wronged in an unforgivable way. Today, begin to know that you always have a choice. Today choose love-it is the most powerful healing force there is and it will create miracles in your life.

Just for today, I know in any given situation that I have choice between love and fear. I choose love. It does not matter what other people say or do. What does matter is how I choose to react and what I choose to believe about myself. I choose to forgive. I choose to love and accept myself exactly as I am. And so it is.

Happy Solstice!

Happy Solstice! Today is the longest day of the year and the start of summer. It is a day that is filled with light and signifies change-changes in seasons and changes for you. And, all that light can help you and I to learn how to nurture and care about ourselves in new ways and in some cases, perhaps for the first time. It can teach you how to make your emotional needs your top priority. Today no matter what you have on your to do list, make certain that your needs and well-being are on the top of that list! Make you your priority!

Just for today, I recognize that nurturing myself is a joyful experience and I am worth the time that I spend on my healing. I deserve the best and I accept it now. All my needs and desires are met before I even ask. I am in the process of making positive changes in every area of my life. I am safe. It is only change and out of this situation and every situation only good will come. And so it is.

Be grateful

Sometimes it is easy to forget how, in truth, we all have so much to be grateful for. However, if we allow ourselves to re-focus our attention on all the things that we have to be grateful for, everything changes. In fact, gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Today surrender your struggles, your disappointments, your resentments and fear and choose to be grateful for the changes that are happening in your life right now, even if you cannot see or appreciate the goodness that is in store for you. Today choose to be grateful for it all.

Just for today, I intentionally look at all the positive things in my life and I am grateful for them all. I am grateful for every experience I have ever had for it has shaped me into the person I am today and that is exactly who I am supposed to be right now at this very moment. I am willing to release the need to be unworthy and for struggling and suffering. I am worthy of the very best in Life and I accept it now. I am grateful to be alive another wonderful day and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Reclaim your power!

Many of us think that life happens to us and that we have no control over it. We believe Life is hard and unfair. and that it isn't our fault that we are not happy or don't have the Life we desire. Ultimately, making our own happiness the fault of those around us. However, when we continue to make excuses and blame others, we are actually giving our power away. Today offers you an opportunity to reclaim your power- to take back your power, stand on your own two feet and start loving your life. Today, stop looking to others to define who you are, or who you are not and to stop wasting your waking moments worried about what others think of you. The only way you can truly be happy is to realize that your thoughts, emotions, actions, and decisions are your own responsibility and no one else’s. Today make the choice to re-claim your power to create the life you desire. Be your own leader of your own Life!

Just for today, I release the need to blame anyone, including myself. We are all doing the best we can we the knowledge, understanding and awareness we have. I am a powerful person because I create my own life and my own reality through my thoughts and beliefs. I claim my own power and lovingly create my own reality. I am courageous. I am whole. I stand in my power. And so it is.
