We all wear so many masks. We wear them to fit a role: mother, sister, partner, employee, boss. We wear them to protect us in social situations, at work and at play. We wear these masks in an attempt to hide ourselves because we’re afraid that the truth of who we are will not be acceptable. That if others were to see who we really are they would turn from us, that they will see our monsters.

Last night's total lunar eclipse reminded each of us to let go of our fear of shining, so that you can allow yourself to be seen. And, in doing so you will actually be helping others around you, rather than diminishing their power. Just like the sun that shines its light on all of us, what is in your heart needs to be seen. Today, make yourself a promise to stop hiding and let the people in your life really know who you are. It is time to stop being a chameleon-changing who and what you are depending on what you are doing and who you are with. There is so much more to you than you've allowed the world to witness. Today, show up and really be seen.

Just for today, I accept all parts of myself. I recognize that I am love. I am energy. I am a shining light. I radiate good energy and I am a shining example of love and light. Everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.
