Open new doors to life
Anxiety is defined as a feeling of worry, nervousness, or uneasiness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. Although none of us enjoy feeling anxious and we may try everything to numb out those feelings, feeling anxious, just like feeling sad, is a part of life and at certain times can even be helpful. For you see, your thoughts trigger emotions and your emotions trigger a signal to you that something has to be addressed within-that something is not quite right. Today, instead of searching for ways to avoid or numb out your anxiety about the unknown recognize that all your emotions are your "friends". If you are experiencing anxiety around your job, relationship, or with an upcoming event, take the time to question why you are feeling anxious and then, invite the answers to come. Today, recognize that anxiety, like fear, can be wonderful catalyst in opening doors to something greater. Be willing to open some new doors to life. Be willing to let your anxiety be your friend and allow it to help you to change.
Just for today, I listen to my feelings and I am gentle with myself. I know that all my feelings are my friends. I recognize that Life loves me and I trust things to be wonderful. I observe with joy as Life abundantly supports and cares for me.I know that only good awaits me at every turn and that everything is working out for my highest good. Out of this situation only good will come and all is truly well in my world. And so it is.
