Getting comfortable with uncertainty
Happiness depends upon our ability to make friends with the unknown to respect it, to enjoy and to fully embrace and welcome it. But what the past couple of days has shown us that not many of us do that and in fact we fear the unknown and have no patience for uncertainty. Today, it is time to take a deep breath and begin to allow yourself to stop fearing, fighting and panicking about what is going to happen and have patience and the courage to allow yourself to become more comfortable with the unknown. In fact, the quality of our lives is directly related to the amount of uncertainty we can live with comfortably. And, when we re-commit ourselves each day to the possibilities of a bright and incredible life, each day begins to reveal more direction, and the clarity we seek emerges from the uncertainty. Today, turn off the tv and turn on your faith. Set your intentions for what you would like to see in your world and then, let it go and give it to the Universe to work on. Trust that what you want or even better will come back to you. Maybe not right now, maybe not tomorrow, but it will come when the time is perfect and you are ready to receive it. Today, allow yourself to know that everything is always working out for your highest good.
Just for today, I return to the basics of life-forgiveness, gratitude, courage, patience, humor and love. I have faith in the unlimited loving power of the Universe. I trust the power that created me to protect me, guide me and love me at all times and under all circumstances. I am safe and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is
