Blame

We have all become so accustomed to blaming other people and circumstances that we are often not even conscious that we’re doing it. On the surface, it’s much easier to blame others, because it removes the burden of accountability from us and places it firmly at the feet of another. However, although blaming others appears to be a quick-fix solution, in reality it fixes nothing. In fact, blaming others takes away your control of the situation and passes it onto the other. It prevents you from seeing the whole truth of the issue and blocks you from fully understanding yourself, which can keep you stuck in the same obstructive patterns of behavior. Furthermore, when you blame another, you give your own power away because you're placing the responsibility for your feelings on someone else. People in your life may behave in ways that trigger uncomfortable responses in you, but they can never get into your head and make you respond in any specific way. Taking responsibility for your own feelings and reactions is mastering your “ability to respond.” In other words, you learn to consciously choose rather than simply react. So, today stop blaming anyone for your current feelings and situations. Whether it is your parents, your husband, your co-workers or your neighbors, it is time to stop blaming others and accept responsibility for every action you take, even the ones you might be ashamed of. The more you are able to do that, the stronger you become and the weaker your ego will be, gradually loosening the grip it has on you and me. Today, stop blaming anyone for your perceived struggles and instead, look for the lesson from what you are experiencing because there always is one even if it isn't something you want to learn about yourself or about your ego .

Just for today, I release the need to blame anyone including myself. We are all doing the best we can with the knowledge, understanding and awareness that we have right now. I no longer judge or criticize anyone, including myself. I now move through life knowingly that I am divinely protected, guided and loved. I look for the lesson in every situation and I learn my lessons easily. I am safe and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.
