Choose to end your suffering!

Your mind is a powerful and adaptable tool. And, if you program it to be a certain way through your constant stream of negative self talk, then it will learn to be that way. If you program it to look for and to celebrate things to be grateful for, then your mind will learn to be grateful and your life will change. Today, acknowledge that it is always your choice and it’s really rather simple- Do you want to spend this day being miserable, or do you want to choose to do something about it and shift your attitude? Do you want to continue to suffer or not? By counting your blessings daily, you can begin to condition your mind to look for the good in everything around you. Soon enough, you’ll unconsciously begin to see the bright side of things and feel better about life. Today, look for things to be grateful for-big and small. When you choose to be grateful, you will find more to be grateful for. Today, know that your struggles and suffering will end when you allow your gratitude to begin.

Just for today, I awaken appreciating everything in sight and I give thanks. I express gratitude for all the good in my life. I express gratitude and thanksgiving every day, in every way. Doing so is an important part of my life. I am grateful for it all and everything is always working out for my highest good. And so it is.
