Full Moon energy

Tomorrow we have a full moon in Leo and we are all feeling its energy right now. And, its energy comes to tend to the fire that lives within all of our hearts. Leo is a fire sign that reminds us to connect with all that lights us up. It reminds us to connect with our inner fire, with our inner Sun, and to remember that life is for experiencing rather than controlling. This Full Moon asks you to examine and process what sets your soul on fire; what fans your inner flame and what brings you a sense of purpose as you move through the experiences of your life. It wants you to connect with these questions so you can work on clearing away all that separates you from feeling present and at peace with your Life. Today, if there are fears you have been holding onto, if there are things you would rather not look at, or pain that has felt just too heavy to carry, allow a little space for this Full Moon energy to support you and help you to process your shadows. Allow a little space for this Full Moon to start moving and shifting things out of your body, out of your mind, out of your heart, and out of your life. Allow this Full Moon energy to support you in letting go of everything that no longer serves any purpose in your Life. Today, allow yourself to process and let go.

Just for today, I recognize that I have come to this planet to learn to love myself more and to share that love with others. I do not fix my problems. I fix my thinking and my problems fix themselves. I am in the process of making positive changes in every area of my Life. I love and approve of myself unconditionally. I am safe and I trust the process of Life to always take care of me. Everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Gentle

Life can seem hard. Yet, many of us make it worse by being hard on ourselves. We waste precious time beating ourselves up, wallowing in guilt, or chastising ourselves for mistakes we feel we’ve made. Today, set your intentions to be gentle with yourself. Being gentle with yourself means giving yourself permission to not be perfect and allow yourself to do the best you can right now. However, being gentle with yourself can be easier said then done since you've practiced your other "self-punishing" behaviors for years. Being gentle with yourself is when you take the time to reconnect with your inner being, replace your fears with trust, and learn to let go of the things you cannot control. As you learn to be gentle with yourself, you will be able accept yourself as you are, complete with your flaws, you will learn to love yourself. Be gentle today.

Just for today, I am gentle, kind and comforting to my inner child as I uncover and release old negative messages within me. I am gentle with myself, knowing that I am doing the best I can with the knowledge and understanding that I have. I am forgiving, gentle, kind, and loving and I know that Life loves me. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.

Dare to dream..dare to do something different!

Getting out of your comfort zone is crucial to actualizing your aspirations and turning your dreams and desires into reality. However, if you want something that you don’t already have, there’s a good chance you’ll have to do things that you haven’t already done. Doing those things may not feel natural to you. You may even feel uncomfortable and awkward. But ultimately, behind the frightening facade of fear is a bigger version of who you already are. Today, consciously set your intentions, to ride through the fear of failure and the unknown and step out of your comfort zone. Most of us are reluctant to try new things because we fear failure, but you need to understand that failure isn’t the end of the road, it’s the beginning. You learn and gain more from failure than you do from succeeding—and way more than if you never took the chance in the first place. Today, do something different. Either you succeed and you grow or you fail and you grow, but trying anything is better than doing nothing. Today, know that everything you want is on the other side of fear.

Just for today, I let go of all fear and doubt and Life becomes simple and easy for me. I am willing to do something different. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and experience Life in a whole new way. Each day I stretch my comfort zone a little further. I see obstacles as opportunities to grow. I am safe. It is only change and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.

Presence=Power

Changing a lifetime of mental habits is an ongoing process, not a one-time quick fix because in truth our brains are built to reinforce behavior that feels safe and comfortable, even when that behavior hurts us more than helps us. Today, set your intentions to remain fully present-fully immersed in this present moment. For you see, it is only in this present moment can you create your future. It is only in this “now” moment that your thoughts and words are powerful. So you really don’t want to waste your current thoughts by continuing to create your future from the garbage of your past. And, it is only in the present moment that you have the power to change and create the life you desire. Today, consciously choose to remain present and you will also be choosing to become the powerful creator of your own destiny.

Just for today, I release the past and live totally in the present moment. I practice forgiveness daily so I can move out of the past and into this present moment. I recognize that my point of power is always in the present moment. I am a powerful person because I choose to live in the present moment. I trust the power that created me to protect me, guide me and love me at all times and under all circumstances. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.

EGO

Our world is ego-driven and as a result most of us have become ego driven. We constantly compare ourselves to others, judge our performance (usually harshly), define our worth by our financial and career achievements, and criticize ourselves for failure. This ego-based drive for success and happiness is of course ineffective. and will always leave you wanting more, never feeling quite satisfied. And that’s because your definition of happiness as something that can be obtained externally is fundamentally misguided. Of course, it is a good thing to achieve external success and take pride in what you have accomplished through hard work. However, true unwavering happiness comes when you feel fulfilled, and in order to feel fulfilled you need way more than material possessions and accolades—you need to feel loved and that you belong. Today, allow yourself to recognize that if want a fulfilled life, you have to look inside and find love there first. Today set your intentions to begin a new commitment to reconnecting your body, your mind and your heart; to recalibrate your life toward inner peace and joy, and away from self-focus, fear, and your perceived brokenness and separateness. Today, give yourself some quiet time for meditation, journaling or yoga-any activity that focuses your attention inward. You can never achieve your purpose if you continue to let the outer world dictate your life. Today, stop being a slave to your ego and start living a freer, happier, more authentic life.

Just for today, I take time to meditate and to quiet my mind. I feel newly energized by these periods of restfulness. As I quiet down and focus on the beautiful things in my life, I open myself up to my own healing powers. I release the need to blame anyone, including myself. We are all living the best way we know how. I know that all the answers to all the questions I shall every ask are already within me. I allow myself to listen to my intuition. I am safe. I am loved and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

CHOOSE wisely

In the Infinity of Life where I am right now, all is perfect, whole and complete. I no longer choose to believe in old limitations and lack. I now choose to see myself as the Universe sees me-perfect, whole and complete. I now choose to live my life from this understanding that I am always in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.

Everyone is a reflection of you

Everyone is your mirror. What this means is that others are simply reflecting parts of your own consciousness back to you, giving you an opportunity to really see yourself and ultimately to grow. The qualities you most admire in others are your own and the same goes for those qualities you dislike. Today, begin to become aware that if you want to change anything in your relationships, you must be the change you want to see.It is only when you understand what it truly means to see yourself reflected back at you, that there is no room for blame, there is no room for judgement and there is no room to feel like a victim of another person's actions or words. There is only room for real love based on understanding and gratitude. Compromise comes easy, forgiveness is a given and growth is inevitable. Today, be the change that you want to see in your life by loving and approving of yourself no matter what. Then, that self love will be reflected back to you ten fold. You teach people how to treat you by what you allow, what you stop, and what you reinforce. Today treat yourself with love.

Just for today, I love myself therefore I attract only positive people and experiences into my life. I attract only loving relationships into my life for they are a mirror of who and what I am. I am lovable. I am loving. I am loved and all is truly well in my world. And so it is.

Stop and smell the roses

As we finish the first month of 2020, a year that has not and will not be easy, we are reminded that everything we need is always inside of us and always available to you in each present moment. And even though this year will be filled with challenges, it will also be filled with amazing opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment. Slowly, through your challenges and perhaps struggles, you will find that day by day you are strengthening your body and soul. Today, the Universe wants to remind you to stop, smell the roses and shake off some of the intensity that January has brought to all of us. No matter what your challenges, struggles or fears, there is real beauty and peace right where you are, right now, in this present moment. Today, remember that the beauty of Life, in truth, is in each precious moment. Today, stop and smell the roses and see the beauty that is always right in front of you if you take the time to notice it!

Just for today, I stop and smell the flowers, I take a beauty break and enjoy nature in all her glory. I will not be distracted by noise, chatter or setbacks. I will allow patience, commitment, purpose and grace to guide me. For every problem that I may create. I am confident that I can find a solution. I am safe and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Baby steps

It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a great leap forward only to stumble backward. It is time for you to move forward and take some practical steps to build your dreams. However, it might feel overwhelming and you may feel like you have no idea of how to begin. Today, recognize that you climb a mountain one step at a time and you achieve your goals in just the same way. Begin by breaking down what feels like an enormous, unattainable goal into smaller, doable tasks. Then, take one baby step and make sure you take pride in each one of those steps. Then, repeat. Know that each small win is an accomplishment in itself. Today, baby steps, slow and steady. Now, start with one foot and go for it.

Just for today, I recognize that every obstacle is but a stepping stone. My good cannot be stopped. I know that today is a stepping stone in the discovery of who I am and what brings me joy. Limitations are but opportunities to grow. I use them as stepping stone towards my success. As I change my thoughts, the world around me changes. I am safe, divinely guided and protected. And, everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Step out of your comfort zone

It is a new day and it is time to step out of your comfort zone and move forward. And, it is only by taking risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will you be able to grow and to move forward. However, we are often too afraid to take that first step. In truth, comfort zones are not really about comfort, they are about fear and fear is one of the biggest barriers to living a joyful and fulfilling life. If you are living life from a place of fear, you are not free to take risks or pursue your dreams. If your energy is expended in avoiding failure or rejection, then that energy is used to stay safe, instead of being available to create the life you envision. Today, it is time for you to move forward, to let go of your fear and to take small steps to move out of your comfort zone. Staying within your comfort zone doesn’t necessarily mean you’re happy there. It just means you feel safe and familiar where you are at. Your willingness to expand your comfort zone allows you greater experiences and freedom. Today, set your intentions to be willing to move out of your comfort zone and to take one small step towards achieving your goal. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new. Today, be willing!

Just for today, I do something different. I am willing to step out of my comfort zone and experience life in a new way. I release the need to struggle and suffer. I trust Life to always take care of me. I am safe. It is only change and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.

Easy does it

Today our moon moves into the water sign of Pisces and it brings with it a easy, flowing energy, which we all could really use right now. If you have been feeling stagnant or stuck in any way it is because you are holding on to old ways of doing things. Today, allow the celestial waters of the Pisces Moon to wash over you so that you can let go of all of the ways you have used to try to control your life. Today, allow yourself to try some new ways of receiving with ease. Today allow yourself to let go, stop struggling, wondering and worrying and just allow things to be easy!

Just for today, I let go of all fear and doubt and Life becomes simple and easy for me. I choose to believe it is easy to change a thought or behavior pattern. I let go of my need to struggle and suffer. I now flow easily and effortlessly with new experiences, new challenges and new people who enter my life. I am worthy of all that is good in Life and I now lovingly allow myself to accept it and receive it. All is truly well in my world and everything is always working out for my highest good. And so it is.

What's your story?

We are constantly telling ourselves stories about who we are and what we are capable of achieving. Some of those stories are about past pain from our childhood, some are about the future and some are not even true. All of the narratives that we repeat to ourselves—both of the fiction and nonfiction varieties—are what we internalize and use to create self-identity.The stories we tell ourselves about our shortcomings and failures fuel the negative self-talk that leads us to accept the myth of a single narrative—a belief in only one version of what our life can look like. And, it is our interpretation of the past and how we project the future that determines the roads we take to all of our tomorrows. Today, set your intentions to begin to listen to your stories and instead of believing the narratives that tell you what you can’t do, choose to focus on what is in your control. Instead of repeating over and over about how much you have suffered or how you were victimized, tell yourself the stories about those times when you were courageous. Tell stories about your strength, perseverance, and resilience. Tell stories about how strong you are. Tell the stories of your survival. The ones where you got through the hardest of times and experienced joy again. The stories where you knew in your bones that life was worth living.You have those stories. Those are the ones to repeat today and going forward. Tell them over and over again so you never forget who you really are. Change your story and you will change your world.

Just for today, I do a mental housekeeping, making room for new positive thoughts and a new life story. I am willing to release old negative thoughts. They are only thoughts that stand in my way. My new thoughts are positive and fulfilling. I know that the thoughts that I choose to think and believe now are creating my future. These thoughts my experiences tomorrow, next week and next year. I do not fix my problems. I fix my thinking and my problems fix themselves. Life supports me in every possible way and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Change is afoot

We are all going through big unavoidable paradigm shifts and change is afoot. However, you might have a sense of what you do not want anymore without a crystal clear sense of where you are heading. And, although it might feel frightening and perhaps, frustrating, it is, in truth, a good thing! It is a good thing because before you make change you need to let go of who you were and experience a period of "void", so that you can replace the old with new people, places, things and beliefs. Today, even if you want to do anything but experience this confusion/void, do not make "rash" decisions! Take time to make sure you are making choices that feel good - not just for the sake of doing something different. This is a stabilizing time. There's change ahead and change behind you. It's okay to be in this period in between. Use this in between period to experiment, be more creative and explore. Again, it is perfectly okay if not everything sticks. It may take a couple of tries until you find what is truly right for you. Today, allow yourself time to shake off your old identities that keep you limited and trying to win the approval of others. Today, just be; be true to yourself and your whole life will fall into place.

Just for today, I am not my parents or their patterns. I am my own true self and I am free. I know that when I create harmony in my mind and my heart, I will find it in my life. The inner creates the outer, always. I am perfect exactly as I am. I am good enough and I trust that everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.
