All your feelings are your friends!

Sometimes the last thing we want to do is feel our feelings. Because feelings can hurt and feelings can make you cry and in some cases your feelings can make others feel uncomfortable. So, many of us learn how to stuff and stifle our feelings. However, those feelings then seem to emerge at the most unexpected times-resulting in over reacting, melt downs and just plain exhaustion. Today, make time to process and integrate your feelings, instead of ignoring them, letting them build up or rationalizing them away. Every feeling you have has a message for you.Maybe that message is simply to allow yourself to feel the emotion until it dissipates. Maybe the feeling is guiding you toward some action. Today, recognize that you already have every answer you will ever need inside of you; you just need to learn how to access that information and you begin that process by translating what your feelings are trying to tell you. In doing so, your feelings will provide you a direct conduit to your own higher wisdom, to your intuition. It may take time to clear out what you were in the habit of stuffing down, but the more you lean into whatever is asking to be seen, the more your life will open up and expand-the more everything will change. Today, make time to make all your feelings your friends and then listen to them!

Just for today, I listen to my feelings and I am gentle with myself. I know that all my feelings are my friends. I am safe when I express my feelings. I can remain serene in any situation. I allow myself to become quiet and still and when I do I am amazed at what I discover. Life is just waiting to share its secrets with me. Everything that I seek is already within me and out of this situation only good will come. And so it is.
