Abundance
It may be a cliche, but true: money cannot buy happiness. It can influence happiness, since it can afford us the necessities of Life, a comfortable lifestyle, and opportunities that may increase our overall life satisfaction. But money, in itself, is not the abundance we seek. For you see, you and I assume that money can buy feelings–that it will make us feel accomplished, respected, happy, free or simply make us feel safe. We assume that if we aren’t happy, the solution is more. Or if we are happy, more will prolong that state. Today, recognize and acknowledge that the Universe in which you live is an abundant one and that abundance is always available to you. However, the pursuit of more can keep you trapped in a world of lack and scarcity. The constant pursuit of more can rob a fun experience of joy, turning it into a means to an end. It can motivate us to compare and compete instead of recognizing and honoring our actual needs and knowing that most of the time, we have what we truly need. And it can compel us to constantly await excess in the future instead of enjoying enough in the present. This isn’t to say you shouldn’t strive for your goals. It’s just that none of it will affect you as you hope it will if you don’t learn to appreciate what you have when you have it. And that is real abundance! Today, recognize your riches, regardless of your wealth, and allow yourself to enjoy them. You will then truly be rich!
Just for today, I now move into a new era of prosperity and abundance. I am unlimited in my wealth. All areas of my life are abundant and fulfilling. I now see opportunities for abundance everywhere. I am open and receptive to all the good and abundance in the Universe. Abundance flows freely through me. I am blessed and prospered and everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.
