This present moment

Life is a wild, adventurous ride, and that is exactly what makes it so beautiful and yet also intense and sometimes intensely painful. Some days are filled with beauty and joy. And others, dreams don’t come true, your car dies, you get rejected, or you’re forced to deal with difficult people. However, no matter what life brings you, you always have the power to decide how you want to react when you’re caught right up in the middle of the not so pretty stuff. You always have the choice. And, this is how you can create the reality in which you want to live in, moment by moment, by living in this present moment. Today, begin to recognize that what you truly want can only come to fruition by working with the present moment. No amount of planning, scheming about the future or worrying about what happen in the past can in reality create anything that you desire. By choosing to live in the past or the future, you are only resisting what is actually happening right now, the only time that is real. By resisting reality, you become disempowered, hopeless, and stuck. As it has been said, what you resist, persists. By resisting, you’re actually creating more of what you don’t want because you’re constantly focused on what you don’t want.

The only way to create what you do want is full acceptance of what is, of where you are right now in this present moment. This is the place where you see possibility instead of limitation. Where you get creative. Where you can see solutions. Where you feel hope and maybe even some peace. So, today consciously choose to accept this present moment. It is the only one you have right now and it is the only one that you are promised. Today, accept this moment. In fact, celebrate it, appreciate it. even if you don’t feel like it. Especially if you don’t feel like it. Small acts of appreciation for the present moment can cause giant shifts in your life. You become empowered, creative, and resourceful. Today, practice staying present, moment by moment. Consciously decide to take your power back and remember that you create your life and your happiness, always and one moment at a time.

Just for today, I release the past and live totally in the present moment. I practice forgiveness daily so I can move out of the past and into this present moment. I recognize that my point of power is always in the present moment. I am a powerful person because I choose to live in the present moment. I recognize that if I focus on what I do not want, that is exactly what I will get more of. I trust the power that created me to protect me, guide me and love me at all times and under all circumstances. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.
