Be kind to yourself
Creating lasting change takes commitment, practice, and most importantly self-compassion. Commitment to truly being authentic. Practice -by making conscious choices to set your authentic self free. And, self-compassion by finally surrendering to the fact that you are not perfect, nor do you need to be. And, by learning to practice self-compassion, you will become more comfortable with the person your are today, free of expectations. Today, set your intentions to tend to your sensitive heart, which may be more open because of the sensitive energies of Cancer Season. Today, acknowledge your challenges and then let them go. Today, allow yourself to feel whatever it is you need to feel and to then let it go. Today, remind yourself that you are exactly where you need to be. And, although you may be learning things about yourself that may shock you, remember each and everyone one of us is a composite of all emotions and behaviors-the good, the bad and the ugly. And, that’s okay. Today, speak to yourself as if you were your best friend and consciously show yourself compassion and understanding. Today, be kind to yourself and give yourself a big hug for just being and for picking yourself up and moving forward. Today, accept that self-compassion is an inside job. When you allow yourself to be gentle with yourself, the world will becomes a gentler place. Just for today, I listen to my feelings and I am gentle with myself. I know that all my feelings are my friends, not just the ones I like. I am my own best friend. Other friends will come and go. But, I am always here with and for myself. I show myself compassion and love. I am safe when I express my feelings. I can remain serene under all circumstances. I am centered and focused. I feel more secure each day. I joyously let go of everything that no longer serves any purpose in my life. I am safe, divinely guided and loved. Life supports me in every possible way and all is truly well in my world. And so it is.
