Joy

Many of us are focused on becoming better people every day. And, yet that doesn’t mean you are not wonderful right now. Perhaps being a better person to yourself means you allow yourself more joy, more freedom and more play. Relaxing and enjoying your life may seem contrary to making your life better. However, that might just be what your soul craves right now. Today, give yourself permission to find joy in your every day moments. Do more of what you love, enjoy being yourself, and look for the joy in every moment. Today, and every day make time for yourself and allow yourself to create, discover and experience more joy.

Just for today, I handle my life with joy and ease. I express joy and Life returns the favor. It is safe for me to experience more joy in every area of my life. I love Life. And so it is.

Conflict

When we face a conflict we face an opportunity to learn from pain. It’s like putting your hand against a hot burner on the stove. The burn warns you that you need to do something differently. However, our natural inclination when we are confronted with conflict is to outsource the blame, making it impossible to get the lesson and move on. So we continue to endure burning ourselves over and over again. And it is our need to be "right" that can keep us on a constant or re-occurring experience with conflict. We have conflicts with our co-workers, our boss, our neighbors, our partners and almost anyone in our lives. We constantly find conflict because we have the need to be right, the need to be appreciated and in some cases the need to feel like we won. Today, stop the cycle of fighting with yourself and others because you need to be right! Begin to consider the notion that there is no right in most situations, just two perspectives. Begin to look for your responsibility in your conflict. When you over extend yourself or have unclear expectations or boundaries with people you actually add to the chaos and conflict. Today, just accept what is. The opportunity to grow in conflict comes when you accept the other person’s limitations and take care of yourself without feeling indignant, bitter, or self-righteous. If you can do that, you can broaden your path from conflict toward compassion.

Just for today, divine harmony and peace dwells within me and around me. I feel tolerance, compassion and love for all people, including myself. I now choose to release all hurt and resentment. I am divinely protected, guided and loved. Everything is working out for my highest good and so it is.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment on purpose and without judgment. This can be done in your day-to-day activities like driving, eating, and in conversation. It can also be practiced as formal meditation. The simple practice of mindfulness can transform your relationship with your thoughts, give you new perspectives on life and it can free you from the hold that your emotions can have on you simply by allowing you to discover what's underneath your feelings. Today, even if you have shied away from or convinced yourself that you cannot meditate for whatever reason, make time in your busy life to stop, be still and listen. Being able to objectively look at your thoughts and feelings can allow you to re-frame any situation and can offer you the space to respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively. And, you will find that self-love and striving for self-improvement can have a ripple effect throughout your life affecting those around you for the better. You will find that the less stressed, the more compassionate and the happier you are—the better wife, partner, friend, daughter, and co-worker you can become. Your mindfulness in reality benefits your life. Today become aware that simply bringing mindfulness to your thoughts and actions can also bring you potent insights and will change your life.

Just for today, I am aware that when I quiet down and focus on the beautiful things in my life, I open myself up to my own healing powers. I allow myself to be quiet and still and I am amazed at what I discover, Life is just waiting to share its secrets with me. I know that when I create harmony in my mind and my heart, I will find them in my life. The inner creates the outer, always. And so it is.

Habits

Your life is essentially the sum of your habits.What you repeatedly do and what you spend your time thinking about and doing each day ultimately forms the person you are. They form the things you believe, and the personality that you portray. Habits in truth are not all together negative things for they govern our lives and allow us to engage in a multitude of daily tasks without overloading our brains.However, your habits can also be keeping you stuck and stopping you from growing and changing. Today, begin to become aware of the habits and routines that no longer serve any purpose in your life. Then, set your intentions on replacing those habits with new ones that support and promote your health and happiness. Begin to establish new routines, "habits" in your home and work life. In the long run, a little structure and some new habits can bring more happiness and freedom into your life.

Just for today, I choose to feel good about myself each day. Every morning I remind myself that I have a choice to feel good. This is a new habit for me to cultivate. For every habit, for every experience that I go through over and over, for every pattern I repeat there is a need within me for it. When I find a positive way to fulfill the need I can release the habit and the problem.I am willing to grow and change and I am always safe, divinely guided and protected. And so it is.

Words...

There is tremendous power in our words and when we think a thought or when we speak a word or write a sentence, it somehow goes out from us into the law of attraction and comes back to us as an experience. Furthermore, the words we use in our everyday life are so powerful that they can either destroy or build relationships with ourselves and other people. Today be mindful of the words you say to yourself and to others. Being mindful of your self-talk is one of the best forms of self-care and self-respect. You are whatever you believe yourself to be. If you think you are smart, beautiful, ugly, or stupid, that’s what your reality will become. You and I get to shape our own story by the words we choose to describe our lives and our experiences. Today, choose your words wisely because they will become your truth.

Just for today, I monitor my self talk, making certain that it is positive, uplifting and supportive of myself and others. I speak and think positively. I know that every word I speak is an affirmation, my subconscious and the universe is always listening. I joyously give to Life and Life lovingly gives back to me. Everything is working out for my highest good. And so it is.

Faith

Sometimes when we hear someone talk about faith, we expect to hear about some kind of subjective encounter with supernatural forces. And, in this skeptical day and age, we can even begin to look at faith as believing in something you know not to be true; that you might be believing in something that is fictional or that we made up in our heads. However, faith comes in varying degrees and even if you do not see yourself as a faithful person, you are indeed one. No matter how big your brain is or how intellectual gifted you are, you still need faith in your life-faith that everything is always working out for your highest good, even if you don't know what that is yet.

Today, accept that you do not control everything, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes you just need to let go, relax and have faith. Have faith that you are strong enough to handle your challenges; wise enough to find solutions to your perceived problems and capable enough to do whatever needs to be done. Today, just breathe and have faith that everything is always works out for your best. Today, let go a little and just let life happen.

Just for today, I accept what is. I let go of what was and I have faith in what will be. I have faith in the unlimited loving power of the Universe. I have faith that everything is working out for my highest good. Life loves me. And so it is.

Reborn!

Every day offers you a new chance to be reborn and begin again. However, the only way you can do so is by letting go of the past and allowing yourself to see, feel and think in new ways. Today be willing to change. Be willing to see your life in a new way. Be willing to let go of the people, places and things that no longer serve you without fear and trepidation. Today, allow yourself to begin again, allow yourself to be reborn.

Just for today, I feel reborn. I am free from the past and I joyously welcome the new. I am reborn in all levels and in all expressions of time. Every morning I am reborn into a Life of infinite possibilities. I now live in limitless love, light and joy. All is truly well in my world. And so it is. Happy Easter!

Relax and enjoy your life!

The door to your heart and to your dreams opens inward. This means that you must learn to relax before you can solve your perceived problems. You may feel that if only you could solve your problems, you could relax. But it doesn’t work that way. In order to take the pressure off, you need to make space in your heart for other possibilities to happen. Today, allow yourself to relax and just let life happen. You already have everything you need in your life right now. Today, slow down and enjoy Life!

Just for today, I create a stress free world for myself. I will not stress over the things I cannot control. I relax and enjoy life. I know that whatever I need is revealed to me at the perfect time in the perfect way. All is truly well in my world. And so it is.

Blue Moon lessons

We are blessed with a big, beautiful Blue Full Moon! A Blue Moon is when you have two Full Moons in a row in the same sign-in this case both of the Full Moons have been in Libra. When this happens, you and I have an opportunity to re-learn the lessons the previous lunation has brought us, in a way that culminates with a sense of closure and clarity. And because Libra is the sign of justice and balance, we may have been encountering situations that don’t seem fair. Our challenge is not to descend into an ‘us and them’ mentality, looking to for a winner. But rather to strive for mutual beneficial solutions-for the" just result". Our challenge is to bring balance into all areas of our lives, especially in all your relationships. So, today if you are feeling the need for more respect, appreciation, independence and freedom, then know that you are on the right track. Don't fight it and do not try to "win". On the road to balance it is inevitable that we all must learn how to dance with the opposing side. It’s up to us whether we embrace the challenge as an opportunity for growth or to polarize and escalate the conflict through a perspective of competition rather than co-operation. In truth, no one wins in those situations. Today, use this energy to help you find the balance in your life, in your relationships, which will ultimately bring you greater peace and power.

Just for today, I recognize that in any situation that I have the choice between love and fear. I choose love. In all my relationships we are all equal and respect each other’s decisions. I recognize that working together is a part of the purpose of life. I love the people I work with. Everyone I encounter today has my best interest at heart. I know that everyone in my life has something to teach me. We have a purpose for being together. Other people respect me because I respect myself. . And so it is.

Be willing to let go!

Tomorrow we have a powerful Full Moon in Libra, which may bring uncertainty and tension to your relationships. Full Moons are a time of reflection, culmination and letting go of what does not serve you any longer. Since tomorrow's full moon will be so potent today would be a great day to prepare for it. Today, make some time to ponder your relationships with others and with yourself-how you treat yourself and where you give in to and put other's needs before your own needs. Libra is all about balance and this Full Moon will absolutely show you where and with whom you need to restore balance and in some cases, you just need to let go of.

Just for today, I gladly get rid of the thoughts, beliefs and relationships I no longer need so that new ones can take their place. In the process I bring much joy into my life. I am my own best friend. Other friends may come and go but I am always here with myself and for myself. I support myself in feeling good. I am wiling to let go. And so it is.

Enthusiasm is contagious!

Have you ever noticed how powerful enthusiasm is? It can actually be contagious. If someone around you is enthusiastic there’s a certain energy or presence that shines from them that can be infectious. It doesn’t even matter what they’re enthusiastic about; if you're in their presence, it’s easy to be lifted up by their energy. Today, greet this day and everything you encounter with enthusiasm. Enthusiasm, when directed toward something healthy, gives you the power to imagine, create, and enjoy, all that is rooted deep within your own sense of self, possibility, and passion. Enthusiasm is simultaneously a gift to yourself and a gift to the world. It’s immersing yourself in the flow of your enjoyment. It’s gratitude in action. In fact, enthusiasm is awakening. It makes you feel alive and part of something greater than just yourself and it is contagious. So, today, go ahead and share your joy and enthusiasm with the world-and you will find that it instantly will become a better place to live in.

Just for today, my day begins in gratitude and joy. I look forward with enthusiasm to the adventures of the day, knowing that in my life all is well. I perform all tasks with energy and enthusiasm. I am a joyful breeze entering a room and everything I touch is a success. I know that Life loves me and everything in my life works now and forevermore. And so it is.

Blame

We often create situations and then we give our power away by blaming another person for our frustrations. And, when you blame another, you give our power away because in reality you are placing the responsibility for your feelings on someone else. Today, begin to become aware that blaming other people for how you feel is a waste of time. People in your life may behave in ways that trigger uncomfortable responses. However, they didn’t get into your mind and create the buttons that have been pushed. Today, begin to take responsibility for your own feelings and reactions. In doing so, you begin to is master your “ability to respond.” In other words, you learn to consciously choose rather than simply react. Today, consciously choose to stop looking for something or someone to blame for how you feel. Know that in any moment you have a choice on how you choose to react and what you choose to believe. Today, choose to forgive and consciously reclaim you power to create your own reality.

Just for today, I release the need to blame anyone, including myself. We are all doing the best we can with the knowledge understanding and awareness that we have right now. It does not matter what other people say or do. What does matter is how I choose to respond and what I choose to believe about myself. No person, place or thing has any power over me for I am the only thinker in my mind. And so it is.

Nourish your body and soul

You are a spiritual being having a human experience. That means you need to nourish your soul as well as your body. Today, make sure you are taking care of both parts of you equally. Make sure you are eating well, staying grounded and getting the rest you need. Also be sure you are engaging in activities that are joyful for your rather than getting bogged down in your responsibilities. Remember anything you desire in your outer world begins with your relationship with yourself. Take care of that self today and you'll be much more able to create the life you desire.

Just for today, nourishing myself is a joyful experience and I am worth the time I spend on my healing. I listen to my body and I give it what it needs . I nourish myself by saying yes when I mean yes and no when I mean no. I know what I want and I do not need to apologize for it. I am grateful for my healthy body, mind and spirit. I love Life and so it is.
